Bungee Rope Installation
CAUTION:
Wear safety goggles when installing bungee rope and hardware. DO NOT let go of the bungee rope under tension. An eye injury or other bodily injury could occur.
Step 1: Thread the Bungee Rope
Thread the bungee rope from back to front into the buttonholes7. Do this before and after each bow, keeping them $18^{\prime\prime}$ to $20^{\prime\prime}$ apart8.
Step 2: Complete the Threading
Thread the bungee rope around the entire canopy.
Step 3: Tie the Knot
Tie both ends of the bungee rope together in a simple knot. Do not pull the rope tight ; the rope will tension as you raise it to the “S” hooks.
Step 4: Secure to Hooks
Lift the bungee rope upward and hook it to the “S” hook. Secure it in a saw-tooth pattern around the frame.
