Warranty and Refund Policy

WARRANTY

Coverage

This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period.

During the Warranty Period, the Company will conduct an examination and will repair or replace, products or parts of a product that is proven defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

 

Warranty Period

Prairie Composites LLC. DBA LiftCover offers a 5 Year Warranty. The date the Warranty begins is the date of shipment.

During the first 3 years of purchase, we grant a 100% coverage for workmanship and materials. At year 4, we grant 40% coverage for workmanship and materials and at year 5, 20% coverage for workmanship and materials.

Warranty Policy

The Company warrants that with the appropriate installation and care, our canopies cover will maintain accordingly. They will remain in good visual condition for the duration of this warranty and beyond.

We consider Failure to be the excessive fading or rupture, subject to the following terms, provisions and conditions. Our canopies cover shall be deemed to have failed due to excessive fading only in the event that during the first five years following the date of shipment, it should fade to such an extent that it can no longer fulfill its intended advertising, decorative, or identifying role when viewed from a normal distance.

Should this situation occur, the Company shall act as informed in “Duration” depending on the years the canopy has been purchased.

NOTE: Failure which can be attributed to improper installation of the canopy, or to distortion of the framework upon which our cover is mounted, is not covered by this warranty.

This Warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, vandalism, or chemically induced degradation. An examination will be held to determine the cause of Failure.

 

After Year 5, there will not be a rebate or replacement.

 

Owner’s Obligation

Owner must provide normal maintenance and proper care of the Products according to this warranty. The Company must be notified in writing, by the Owner, of the existence of any defect prior to the expiration of the warranty on that defect and no action at law or in equity may be brought by the Owner against the Company for failure to remedy or repair any defect about which the Company has not received timely notice in writing.

 

Consequential or Incidental Failures

Consequential or incidental damages are excluded from this warranty. An examination will be held to determine the cause of Failure.

 

 

Liability

The Company’s liability is limited to replacement as mentioned in “Duration”. In no event The Company shall be held liable for consequential or special damages of any type to the Product.

 

Exclusions

The following scenarios are excluded from this Warranty:

  1. Defects in any item that was not part of the original Product as sent by the Company.
  2. Any defect caused by or worsened by negligence, improper maintenance, lack of maintenance, improper action or inaction, or willful or malicious acts by any party other than the Company, its employees, agents, or trade contractors.
  3. Normal wear and tear of the Product.
  4. Loss or damage caused by acts of God, including but not limited to fire, explosion, smoke, water escape, changes that are not reasonably foreseeable in the level of underground water table, glass breakage, windstorm, hail, lightning, falling trees, aircraft, vehicles, flood, and earthquakes.
  5. Any defect or damage caused by changes in the grading or drainage patterns or by excessive watering of the ground of the Owner’s property or adjacent property by any party other than the Company, its employees, agents, or trade contractors.
  6. Any loss or damage that arises should the Products be used for any ither purpose than it was created for.
  7. Any damage to the extent it is caused or made worse by the failure of anyone other than the Company or its employees, agents, or trade contractors to comply with the requirements of this warranty or the requirements of warranties of manufacturers of appliances, equipment, or fixtures.
  8. Failure of Owner to take timely action to minimize loss or damage or failure of Owner to give the Company timely notice of the defect.
  9. Insect or animal damage.

NOTES: a) Lilongwe valance offered for Shorestation will not cover “wind whip” as part of the warranty due to the excessive length of the canopy.

  1. b) Custom Canopies with extended lengths and valances, such as Shorestation 36″ valance, are not covered for “wind whip”.

Refund Policy


1) The Company allows you to return your purchase within 30 calendar days from the date you placed the order.

After the 30 calendar day period has expired, we shall not able to offer a refund or exchange, even if the product is defective or different from what you intended to order.

2) To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, sent back to us in the original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it. An examination will be held to determine if the Product applies for a refund.

NOTE: We reserve the right to offer partial refunds if an item is not in the original condition, is damaged or is missing parts or accessories for reasons not due to our error.

3) We inspect all returned items when they arrive at our processing facility. We are not responsible for damage to the product during return shipment. When returning a product to us, we recommend that you insure the product with the shipper for the full price of the item. Shipping fees for returned items are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Defective Product

If a Product is deemed defective by the Company, we will immediately replace it. An examination will be held to determine if there is indeed a defect.

Open Item Return

If you return an item that has been opened or shows signs of wear, a full refund will not apply. We will conduct an investigation and determine the percentage to be refunded. Restocking fee of 25% will be applied.

The refund will be issued after the item ordered is received and processed. If the item is no longer in the condition it was sent and unusable, a 50% restocking fee for damaged and non-resalable items will apply.

 

Wrong Open Item Return

If you return an item claiming that you placed the wrong order, and it has been opened or shows signs of wear, a full refund will not apply. We will conduct an investigation and determine the percentage to be refunded.

Restocking fee of 25% will be applied.

The refund will be issued after the item ordered is received and processed. If the item is no longer in the condition it was sent and unusable, a 50% restocking fee for damaged and non-resalable items will apply.

Receiving your Refund

Once your return is received and processed, an examination will be held to confirm you delivered accordingly. You should expect your refund within 14 business days from the day we receive the returned product in good conditions.

Out-of-Stock / Back-Order Items

If you have placed an order for an item that is no longer available, we will contact you, either using the phone number or email provided to us on your order invoice. You will have the option the get a replacement or to issue a full refund on the amount you paid.

Promotional Items

If a promotional item is intended to be returned, the value of the promotional item is deducted from the refund amount. Additional charges may apply.

Exceptions

The following items are not accepted be returned:

– Labor, delivery and/or installation services.

– Items that are missing accessories, or parts.

– Any product not purchased from the Company.

– Items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases.

– Any product damaged due to improper use.
